Reminder: Please fill out AP Packs

Students need to complete the AP student pack in person outside the Associate Principals' offices anytime between now and end-of-day Thursday, April 28th.

We will have a regular current events quiz every other week based on the "10 Things You Need to Know Today" article summaries from Sunday through Wednesday every other week. Quiz dates will be announced beforehand and posted in the classroom and on this website.

To receive these summaries, please go to the website TheWeek.com, a news aggregator, and scroll part-way down, checking the right-hand sidebar on this page. There will be an option that says “Sign up for our free e-newsletters” along with a checklist of options. Please check “10 Things You Need to Know Today” and submit your e-mail address. You’ll then receive the free, daily "Top 10" summaries.

In addition to developing (or maintaining) a habit of reviewing top stories from around the world, you'll also build a good base of knowledge you'll be able to reference in your writing, (and yes, on the AP exam as well)!
